Sonar: Forward and aft sonar is very useful when working with inter-array cable. An additional rear view from a sonar system in zero visibility water allows operators to back in close to pilings while visually monitoring the potential scour area around the foundation. Safely positioning the start of the burial pass allows for maximum burial and can reduce overall time spent jetting near the foundations.

Cameras: Color Cameras with high power LED lights mounted on sturdy pan and tilt units add to the operator’s ability to monitor progress. Cameras are located to forward, aft, up the umbilical lead and down under the belly of the vehicle.
